Save a view-once photo or video on Telegram
A view-once photo disappears after you open it, and Telegram gives you no way to save it. With SaveContent connected to your account there is one simple move: reply to it before you open it.

Step by step
- Connect the bot onceSettings → Account → Chat Automation → add
@SaveContent_resRoBot. Details → - Do not open the photo yetWhen a view-once photo or video arrives, leave it closed.
- Reply to itSwipe the message to reply and send anything. A dot is enough.
- Open your panelThe bot tells you it saved a self-destructing message. Tap View captured, or open Control Panel → Business.
Why replying works
Telegram does not hand a view-once photo to a connected bot when it arrives. But when you reply to that message, your reply carries the original along with it, and that is the moment the bot can take a copy. That is also why the order matters: reply first, open after.
Limits
- It works for view-once photos and videos in private chats covered by Chat Automation.
- If you already opened it and it is gone, it cannot be brought back.
- The saved copy stays in your panel and in your archive until you remove it.
- It is free and needs no Telegram Premium.
Questions people ask
Can you save a view-once photo on Telegram?
Yes, if @SaveContent_resRoBot is connected through Chat Automation: reply to the view-once message before opening it, and the bot saves a permanent copy that you can open in its Control Panel.
Does the sender get notified?
No notification about saving is sent. They do see your reply, like any reply.
I already opened it. Can I get it back?
No. Once a view-once message has been opened and has disappeared, there is no copy to recover.
