How to choose one
- Who runs it. A bot with a website and a named operator is easier to hold to its word.
- What it stores. Look for a page that says what is kept and how to delete it.
- When it asks you to log in. A public channel should not need a login. A private channel needs one with any bot, because only your account can see the posts.
- How you end it. You should be able to end the session in Telegram → Settings → Devices at any time.
- What to refuse. Never forward a login code to a person, whatever the bot says.
